Our booster club is only as strong as its members, therefore, we encourage everyone to get involved at some level. Below are some opportunities to stay connected in our club.

Mulch Fundraiser:
The players do a great job at selling and are required to help on delivery day. But we need you too! From driving a delivery vehicle, to concessions and follow up teams, there are many opportunities to help on Mulch Delivery Day.
Class Representatives:
Each grade needs (1-2) parents to volunteer to oversee their player's grade during the season.

Senior Committee: *Senior parents (we might suggest 2 lead volunteers)
This committee will help the Senior Class Rep. with all the things our club does to celebrate our seniors. This includes helping with senior banner pictures, senior sheet signs, senior recognition night, etc.
Sponsorships:
Each year we look forward to strengthening our connection with the community. There are many businesses that seek to support our school and players. Duties of this committee include contacting previous and new community businesses to present our sponsorship packages and request support, as well as the follow-through of sponsorship benefits.
Family BBQ: (July 2024 - TBD)
Owl football families come together to kick-off the football season & show our support for the upcoming season! Food, games, and just a fun evening together. Duties for this event include securing the location of BBQ, seek volunteers, coordinate food & games.

Mom's Practice: (August 2024-TBD)
Owls Football “Moms” come together one night to learn the basics & skills of the game of football! And WITH THEIR FOOTBALL PLAYER! Lead by the amazing OW coaching staff you will leave knowing some positions & plays, have a taste of training that our kids endure during the season, and most importantly meet new parents. Afterward, all moms meet at a local restaurant for drinks & appetizers to finish the night! Duties for this event include seeking volunteers, order shirts for moms to receive, setup/teardown, reserve a restaurant.
Saturday Game Day: (August 2024 - TBD)
Game day is an exciting day for all ages of the Olathe West Football family. Future Owl players from youth teams, Mission Trail Middle and Oregon Trail Middle schools gather along with the current OW Owls to celebrate the kickoff of football season with team scrimmages together. We need volunteers to work 1 hour shifts on that day who will be selling Olathe West spirit wear and concessions. Lead duties for this event include seeking volunteers, order shirts, purchase & organize concessions, set up/tear down.
Banners game day - Varsity:
Senior and team banners are a tradition of visually celebrating the seniors and team at each game. Lead duties include finding volunteers, storing the banners between games and until the end of season banquet, and bringing to the banquet to hang the senior banners and distribute them plus the sheet banners. Committee duties include the hanging of senior banners, sheet senior banners, and team banners, on the fence of the bleachers before each home game and taking down after each home game. At discretion of the lead, some banners may be hung at visiting games.
Owl Tunnel Crew - Varsity:
At each varsity game, in great Owl pride, those that dress for varsity run through the blown up tunnel to enhance the spirit of the game. Duties of this committee are to set up the tunnel at each home game with proper weights, and take down at half time. Assign one member to store and transport the tunnel to each home game.
Thursday Night Meals:
Each Thursday before the Friday night game (or Wed. before Thurs. night games), JV and Varsity players share a meal together after practice. The meals are either donated by a restaurant or made by parents. Once the boys and coaches have eaten, they attend other game preparation activities with the coaches. Duties for this event include to seek weekly volunteers to donate food, setup, serve, & tear down. In the past, we have had several local restaurants donate the main entreĢe and then parents would bring in sides and desserts.
Sunday Coaches Lunch:
Every Sunday our coaching staff meet to review film, plan for the upcoming week, and schedule. Parents volunteer to provide a simple meal for the coaches and deliver it to Coach O’Neill at the school. Lead duties for this event include sign-up genius for weekly meal donations from parents, oversee the meals go smoothly.
End of the Season Banquet: *Junior parents
The banquet is a time to celebrate the accomplishments of the team, as well as acknowledge the seniors for their contributions throughout their high school careers. Duties for this event include planning, food coordination, senior and coaches gifts, decorating, set up and tear down.
